BALL HALL SEEKING INSTRUCTORS FOR WEEK-LONG SUMMER CAMPS
Who: Passionate baseball coaches (male and female) who love kids. The camp consists of boys and girls, aged 9-15, beginners and advanced (they are divided by age/skill level for stations), both baseball and softball. We have nearly 200 participants signed up already spanning the three weeks of 2010 camps. Tom Valcke, who has taught baseball in 17 different countries and who will serve as Head Coach for the 2010 World Children’s Baseball Fair in Japan later this summer, will lead the instructor team and design the curriculum. The approach taken at KOD is positive reinforcement and constructive improvement of skills, and we are highly driven towards learning by doing. The average participant from past years increased their overall baseball skills by 30%. NCCP-certified coaches are preferred.
Why: A chance to get paid to do what you love in one of Ontario’s most beautiful small towns. You will also learn new drills and skills from the other instructors. The compensation is $750 for the week, with an additional $250 available if you take on added responsibilities.
How: Complete the ATTACHED APPLICATION and email it to baseball@baseballhalloffame.ca or fax it to 519-284-1234. We will respond to all applicants.
