CANADIANS WHO HAVE PLAYED FOR TEXAS AND SAN FRANCISCO

Ten Canadians have played for the Texas Rangers over the years including Hall of Famers Fergie Jenkins (1974-75, 1978-81) and Reggie Cleveland (1978). Others include: Kevin Reimer (1988-92), Rob Ducey (1993-94), Eric Gagne (2007), Aaron Myette (2001-02), Matt Stairs (2006), Rick Lisi (1981), Steve Wilson (1988) and Rich Harden (2010).
Kevin Reimer and Fergie Jenkins had the best Texas career numbers. Reimer played in 363 games over his 5 years, while hitting 39 HR’s, scoring 109 runs and collecting 144 RBI’s. He hit .262 with a .445SLG% during his time.
Fergie pitched 6 years in Texas winning 93 games with a 3.56ERA over 197 games and 1410.1 innings while striking out 895.
Only two Canadians have played for the San Francisco Giants and they are pitchers George Maranda (1960) and Ken Mackenzie (1964).
