The Toronto Blue Jays clinic that was scheduled for Saturday, May 1st at the Hall of Fame was cancelled due to weather. The clinic will be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date you can get a full refund.

St. Marys – In addition to the Canadian Ball Hall’s museum opening for the season on Saturday, May 1st, St. Marys has been selected by the Toronto Blue Jays (in partnership with Baseball Ontario) for the fifth consecutive year as a host for a Toronto Blue Jays clinic targeted for boys and girls, softball or baseball, beginner or advanced. The clinic has drawn as many as 200 participants in the past, and has an excellent reputation.
Players aged 7-14 can attend the clinic this year and it will run from 10-3pm on the Rotary Field at the Hall of Fame. Please arrive at 9:30am to sign-in.
Unfortunately, the General Motors sponsorship has ceased, and thus the fee for the clinic must be raised to $30, to be paid in advance. The participants receive four hours of top notch instruction, along with a Blue Jays cap, a Blue Jays T-Shirt, and lunch is included.
“This is an amazing opportunity for area youngsters, as this is the best team of instructors you will find in Canada, and the reason we keep increasing attendance each year is because the kids go home and tell their friends how much fun it was,” said Ball Hall president and CEO Tom Valcke.
“It is a day of positive reinforcement and fun combined with constructive improvement where the players need correction.”
Participants should dress in their uniform or comfortable clothing, and bring their own ball glove and whatever other equipment they wish. Parents are highly encouraged to please put their child’s name on ALL of their equipment.
“St. Marys has become one of our favourite stops because of the volume and passion demonstrated by the kids from that Huron-Perth-Middlesex region,” said Blue Jays head clinician John Milton.
“We teach them the same drills and techniques that our major leaguers use in approaching baseball – there are several ways to perform each skill, but only one right way.|
Due to the limited number of spots available, players must pre-register and must pre-pay by cash, cheque or credit card by dropping in or mailing the Hall’s administration office located at 140 Queen St. E. Registration by phone or email or is also acceptable, as long as a credit card is given.
