WORLD BASEBALL CLASSIC

Team Canada is playing in the World Baseball Classic qualifier in Germany from Sept 20-24. The winner of their four team pool will advance to play in the World Baseball Classic in March 2013. Hall of Famers Ernie Whitt, Larry Walker, Greg Hamilton, Tim Leiper, Dave Blatz, Keith Sanford and Bernie Soulliere are leading the charges while former MLB players Mike Johnson, Shawn Hill, Adam Loewen, Rene Tosoni, Trystan Magnuson and RJ Swindle will carry the veteran leadership.
