BLUE JAYS FIRST BASE COACH TIM LEIPER JOINS PITCH TALKS JUNE 14

Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum Pitch Talks VIP event

We are excited to announce that 2012 Hall of Famer and current Toronto Blue Jays 1st base coach Tim Leiper will be joining the panel on stage for Pitch Talks on June 14.

Tim has been the Blue Jays 1st base coach since 2014, but prior to that he coached and managed with the Marlins, Pirates, Orioles, Red Sox, Expos and Mets organizations between 1996-2012. Tim also worked with Baseball Canada from 2004-17 during the Olympics, World Baseball Classic, World Cups and Pan-American Games. Prior to coaching Tim enjoyed a 12 year playing career from 1985-96 including 7 seasons in Triple A.

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum proudly presents the Pitch Talks VIP event, an exclusive event to launch the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame Induction weekend.  The event will feature a meet and greet session along with food and drinks with the 2018 inductees and other special guests from 6-7pm. Following the meet and greet join Blue Jays broadcaster Dan Shulman and the 2018 Inductees Pedro Martinez, Lloyd Moseby and Bill Humber on stage. The second panel on stage with Dan Shulman now includes Blue Jays 1st base coach and Hall of Famer Tim Leiper with other guests to be announced shortly. Other special guests attending the evening include Hall of Famers Fergie Jenkins, Ron Taylor and Murray Cook. More guests to come once confirmed.
