Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame re-opens<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Marys, Ont.\n\u2013 The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame is thrilled to announce that our expanded\nand renovated museum will re-open its doors to the public on Saturday, April 27\nat 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The revamped St.\nMarys, Ont.-based shrine, which now includes a 2,500-square foot addition, will\nboast new interactive exhibits and a visitors\nlounge for groups and social events. Also included are an archive and resource\nlibrary that will house the Hall\u2019s historic documents and serve as the new home\nof the Centre for Canadian Baseball Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Renovations to the original stone\nhouse, which has functioned as the museum\u2019s home for the past two decades, have\nalso been completed. This part of the museum will continue to showcase one-of-a-kind\nartifacts but in fresh new professionally designed displays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis grand\nre-opening marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our museum,\u201d said\nCanadian Baseball Hall of Fame board chair Adam Stephens. \u201cWe\u2019re looking\nforward to every fan of Canadian baseball being able to see our enhanced facility\nand our new and interactive exhibits that tell the story of Canada\u2019s rich\nbaseball history.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nHall\u2019s brand-new visitors\u2019 lounge will feature a unique collection of original\nbaseball artwork and offer guests an opportunity to view footage from previous\ninduction ceremonies. This room will also be available to the public to rent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the new archive and resource\nlibrary, the Hall will be able to better store our collection, while the Centre\nfor Canadian Baseball Research will provide opportunities for researchers to\naccess the Hall\u2019s vast collection of historical resources and documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museum will be open six days a week (Tuesdays through Sundays) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from April 27 to September 2. It will be closed on Mondays except for holidays. Fall and winter hours please check the website<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tout juste agrandi de 2500 pieds carr\u00e9s et\nfra\u00eechement r\u00e9nov\u00e9, le mus\u00e9e pr\u00e9sentera de nouvelles salles d\u2019exposition et une\nsalle de r\u00e9ception pour les groupes et les \u00e9v\u00e9nements. Fait \u00e9galement parti du\nmus\u00e9e une biblioth\u00e8que d\u2019archives comprenant les documents historiques du\nTemple et qui accueillera maintenant le Centre de recherches pour le baseball\ncanadien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les r\u00e9novations \u00e0 la maison d\u2019origine faite\nde pierres, qui a abrit\u00e9 le mus\u00e9e au cours des 20 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, sont\n\u00e9galement compl\u00e9t\u00e9es.
