St. Marys – The computer age has led to mandatory on-line registration being required for all interested participants in the upcoming Blue Jays Academy Honda Instructional Clinic slated for 3:30pm, Sunday, June 5 on the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s Rotary Field.
If you are unable to register on-line, simply call the Hall of Fame’s administrative office at 519-284-1838, or stop by (140 Queen St. E., St. Marys), and they will register you on their computer, which will take all of about two minutes.
The clinic will be capped at a maximum one hundred participants, so interested families are encouraged to register HERE NOW!
Boys and girls aged eight to 14, beginners to experienced, baseball or softball – come one, come all. The registrants will be divided by age and skill level, and treated to four hours of excellent instruction to help them get their ball seasons underway. Hall-of-Famer Jim Fanning, the Blue Jays Ambassador of Baseball, will join the instructors to encourage the younsters. The charge is forty dollars.
In addition, the players will be given a Blue Jays cap, a Blue Jays T-shirt, and a free lunch (after the clinic at 1:00pm), all taking place on the Hall of Fame’s Museum opening day. The museum will be open throughout the day.
Rotary Field is at the base of Church Street South in St. Marys, and its GPS setting is 410 Church St. South, ST MARYS.
