MLB Pitch Hit RunSt. Marys – Boys and girls aged 7-14 will be given a chance to showcase their skills on the Rotary Field at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run presented by Scotts skills competition being held at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 10. The players are divided by gender, and the four age categories are 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14, as determined by the child’s age on July 17, 2014.

The three competitions that make up the event involve the players’ ability to throw strikes, a timed running segment, and hitting for distance and accuracy.

The winners advance to the regional showdown, which also is slated to take place at the Hall of Fame, on Saturday, May 24 at 10:00am. If they make it through that sectional, they will be invited to compete at the Rogers Centre on Sunday, June 8.
