The greatest Canadian pitcher and only Canadian in Cooperstown Fergie Jenkins won the 1971 NL Cy Young award as a member of the Chicago Cubs. In 1971 Fergie won 24 games and complied a 2.77ERA. He started 39 games, pitched 325 innings and struck out 263 batters.
