Joey Votto and Blake Hawksworth have been named Canadian Players of the Month for April.
Votto played in 26 games, while collecting 34 hits, 7 doubles, 4HR’s, along with scoring 22 runs and knocking in 14RBI’s while batting .370 with an OBP of .500 and SLG % of .598. Meanwhile Hawksworth pitched in 10 games, throwing 13 innings, striking out 9 and compiling a 2.77ERA.
