Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame sells out Celebrity Golf Classic, but may book second course to meet demand
The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame’s 20th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic slated for Friday, June 17 has already sold out and a waiting list of foursomes has been created.
Due to the high demand, we’re looking into booking a second golf course on the same day to accommodate the foursomes on the waiting list, as well as any other interested golfers.
If you’re interested in teeing it up in the tournament, please contact us by Saturday, April 30. This event offers you an unforgettable day of fun, first-rate food and the chance for you and three others to hit the links with some of the top names in Canadian baseball history.
Among the celebrities to date that will be in attendance are 2016 inductees Pat Hentgen, Dennis Martinez, Howard Starkman, Wayne Norton and Tony Kubek, as well as past inductees Fergie Jenkins, Steve Rogers, Paul Beeston, Pat Gillick, Doug Melvin, Don McDougall, Murray Cook and Jim McKean. Former professional players Billy Atkinson, John Upham, Paul Spoljaric, Larry Landreth and Brock Kjeldgaard will also be there, along with ex-NHL forward Mark Bell and referee Bruce Hood.
For an investment of $1,500, your foursome will be treated to a continental breakfast, lunch and a dinner banquet. You will also receive a gift bag and your company name will be highlighted on a hole sign. Individuals can also participate for $300 each, which includes golfing, gift bag and the banquet. The tournament will be a shotgun start Texas Scramble format.
