Larry Walker returned the compliment Tuesday night at the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame induction banquet.
Moments before he was inducted into the hall, the former Rockies outfielder pondered the future.
For the first time this year, Walker was on the ballot for potential induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.
Walker didn’t get enough votes for induction, but he received the necessary votes to remain on the ballot. Asked which team he would select to wear the uniform if inducted, Walker noted that he didn’t think it entirely was up to the player to pick the uniform.
