Congratulations to this week’s Team of the Week: The 18U Dartmouth Arrows women’s baseball team!
The 18U Dartmouth Arrows women’s baseball team has dealt with a lot of pressure and expectation this season: not only are they a brand-new baseball team, but they are also the first ever 18U female team the Dartmouth Arrows organization has ever fielded.
Clearly the pressure of making history was not too much for these athletes though, as they won their inaugural home opener against Halifax!
With perseverance and courage, these athletes are paving the way for female baseball players to also find success and a place to play ball. As their nomination states, “These talented young ladies won the first game they played, as female baseball has finally joined the ranks of a historic association.”
