Ryan Dempster (Sechelt, B.C.) continues his amazing climb in the Canadian baseball record books. Ryan has now pitched 1811.2 innings during his career and that puts him second all-time behind the legendary Fergie Jenkins and his 4500.2 innings. Dempster passed Hall of Famer Reggie Cleveland when he started on Sept 5, 2010 vs the NY Mets.
Next on Ryan’s to do list is to win his 100th big league game as he currently stands at 99 wins. With his 100th win he would become just the 4th Canadian to win 100 games as Jenkins has won 284, Kirk McCaskill 106 and Cleveland 105.
