The World Baseball Classic for Team Canada is about to start. They open the tournament on Friday vs Italy at 2:30pm ET, then play Mexico at 2:30pm ET on Saturday and finish up the first round vs the USA on Sunday afternoon at 4pm ET.
The rosters consists of 11 players that played in the Majors in 2012; including Phillippe Aumont, John Axford, Taylor Green, Jimmy Henderson, Shawn Hill, Brett Lawrie, Chris Leroux, Justin Morneau, Peter Orr, Mike Saunders and Joey Votto.
The whole coaching staff are Inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and consists of Ernie Whitt, Larry Walker, Denis Boucher, Paul Quantrill, Stubby Clapp, Tim Leiper, Greg Hamilton and Emerson Frostad.
