Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum set to open on May 1
The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will open for the season on Thursday, May 1.
“On behalf of our board of directors and our staff, I’m excited to open our doors for our 28th season in St. Marys,” said Scott Crawford, the Hall’s director of operations. “We are committed to celebrating the rich history of baseball in Canada and I’m looking forward to sharing our new artifacts with our visitors.”
Some of the new artifacts on display will include:

– A locker that was in the Blue Jays clubhouse during the World Series years.
– Paul Molitor’s World Series MVP trophy earned in 1993.
– Joey Votto’s jersey worn during Spring Training with the Blue Jays in 2024.
– A display of bobbleheads from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum collection.
– The baseball Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit to break the record for single-season hits by a Canadian first baseman in 2024.
– Fergie Jenkins’ Chicago Cubs cap worn during his Cy Young Award-winning season in 1971.
– A selection of artifacts from our 2025 induction class, which includes former Toronto Blue Jays all-star José Bautista, head coach and Director of the Men’s National Teams Greg Hamilton and Canadian pitcher Érik Bédard, plus former Women’s National Team player Amanda Asay, All American Girls Professional League player Arleene Noga and Montreal City Councillor Gerry Snyder, whose efforts led to the founding of the Montreal Expos.
Renovated in 2018, the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum also houses dozens of other one-of-a-kind artifacts. The museum features interactive exhibits, a gift shop and the Centre for Canadian Baseball Research, the country’s leading baseball resource centre.
The facility also offers rental space, including the R. Howard Webster Foundation Visitors Lounge, which overlooks King Field, and is ideal for work, team and personal events and functions for up to 55 people. For information about how your group can host an event at the museum, click here.
The museum is also located on a picturesque 32-acre site that includes outdoor walking trails and four premier baseball fields.
