St. Marys, Ont. – The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will officially launch its 2023 induction weekend with a reception at the Leftfield Brewery in Toronto on Thursday, June 15 called “The Opening Pitch.”

This event will offer attendees the opportunity to mingle with the Hall’s 2023 induction class, which consists of legendary Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jesse Barfield, ex-big leaguers Denis Boucher (Lachine, Que.) and Rich Harden (Victoria, B.C.), as well as long-time Manitoba baseball coach and executive Joe Wiwchar (Winnipeg, Man.).

Former American League batting champion and Blue Jays legend John Olerud, who was elected to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020, will also be in attendance, as will other special guests, past inductees like Fergie Jenkins, media personalities such as Jamie Campbell, Ben Wagner and Caleb Joseph and Blue Jays executives.
