Claude Raymond is a former professional baseball pitcher from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec. Raymond pitched in Major League Baseball for twelve years, with a career 3.66 ERA. Raymond was the first Quebec-born player to be nominated to an MLB All-Star Game in 1966. He was traded to the expansion Montreal Expos team in 1969 and finished his career playing for his home province. Raymond was inducted into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984.
