This is a game-used Louisville Slugger bat which belonged to Dave McKay. Dave McKay is a Canadian former Major League Baseball player. McKay was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 1976 expansion draft and was the starting third baseman in the Toronto Blue Jays’ first game on April 7th 1977. He was the first Canadian to play for the Toronto Blue Jays, and the only Canadian in their lineup on opening day. McKay is a three-time World Series Champion, twice with the Toronto Blue Jays, and was elected to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001.
