Ernie Lombardi played 1853 games from 1931-47 with Brooklyn, Cinncinnati, Boston Braves & NY Giants. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1986 by the Veterans Committee. He won the 1938 NL MVP award and is a career .306 hitter.
