The Billy Harris Scholarship Fund was created by Rick Harris, WCCC’s Youth Development & Recreation Manager, as a tribute to his late father, professional baseball player Billy Harris. Money raised for the fund helps low-income youth join organized sports leagues or purchase sports-related equipment. Both Rick and his dad recognized the value of sports in the life of a child, providing the tools they need to deal with tough situations.
