The spacious dimensions of Citi Field got a little less intimidating on Tuesday morning.
That’s because at 11 a.m. ET, the Mets officially unveiled one of the biggest free-agent signings of this offseason — a man who will not only fill their gaping hole in left field, but hopefully crank them out to that side of the ballpark in ways no Met was able to during a power-starved 2009 season.
Jason Bay, the 31-year-old outfielder with a fierce swing and a calm demeanor, was unveiled by the Mets in the same building he will call his home for at least the next four seasons. Read more HERE.
