BC native and Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster has moved into 2nd place all-time for wins by a Canadian pitcher. On Wednesday, June 8th Ryan beat the Cincinnati Reds for his 107th career win moving him past Hall of Famer Kirk McCaskill.
Ryan also ranks 2nd in career starts, innings pitched and strikeouts, all behind the legendary Fergie Jenkins. What is also amazing is that Ryan spent four seasons in the bullpen and ranks 3rd all-time in saves wtih 87.
