Joey Votto (Etobicoke, ON) has become just the 3rd Canadian to win the MVP award. Larry Walker won the NL MVP in 1997 with Colorado and Justin Morneau won the AL MVP in 2006 with Minnesota.
Also in 2010 Joey has won the Hank Aaron award and was a 2010 All-Star. Joey led the NL in OBP, SLG and OBPS and was 2nd in AVG, 3rd in HR’s, TB’s and RBI’s, 4th in R’s and BB’s.
