Annual Appeal – Pinch-Hit to Support the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

Pinch-Hit to Support the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum

As we enter the Winter of 2021, we are all looking forward to the coming signs of Spring: the smell of fresh cut grass; the cheers of hitting a game-winning home run; and the thrill of hearing cheering kids enjoy the great game of baseball.

For more than 220 years, long before we became a nation, baseball has captured the imagination of Canadians.  Since baseball was first referenced in New Brunswick in 1793, to the ball game in Hamilton in 1819, and to the famous game in Beachville, Ontario in 1838, the heroes, the legends, the stories, and the memories of this childhood game are beautifully housed in the newly renovated Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Marys, Ontario.

As fans of all ages begin to return to our Museum, and kids begin dreaming of hitting that winning home run, we are asking you for your support.  It’s your turn at bat.  And together we can help preserve the game’s history.  Please, step up to the plate, and help us continue to provide a world-class baseball experience to all our visitors.

With your help, we can continue to preserve Canadian baseball memories and to help create new ones.  As you step up to the plate, there are many ways that you can make a difference to our Museum.  The following are some of the ways your gift to the Museum can make a difference:

$1000 – to help purchase new display cases for the museum
$500 – to purchase a home plate and pitching mound tarps to protect the ballfields
$250 – to purchase travelling display boards for when we take the Hall of Fame on the road
$100 – to purchase a textile box to store our jersey collection
$50 – to purchase archival boxes for storage of our valuable collection

Great moments in Canadian baseball history cannot be preserved for today and future generations without your support!
