The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame (CBHFM) is dedicated to honouring, preserving, fostering and sharing Canada’s living history of baseball, we teach life lessons exemplified by the game of baseball.

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who can manage the books as well as process a low volume of payroll using Quickbooks

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Post journal entries
  • Generate financial reports on a monthly basis
  • Process a small volume of accounts payable
  • Process all statutory remittances and benefit payments including WSIB
  • Process a light volume of payroll on a bi-weekly basis including seasonal employee, entering new hires / terminations / changes, and issuing ROE’s

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong data entry skills and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous bookkeeping experience with Quickbooks
  • Experience processing payroll
  • Be able to work under strict deadlines
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in the use of Windows and MS Office
