This base is from the Montreal Expos home game on Jackie Robinson Day in 2004. In March 2004, Major League Baseball declared April 15^th of each year would be Jackie Robinson Day. April 15^th was the date Robinson made his major league debut in 1947. This was the first Official Jackie Robinson Day in Major League Baseball history, and also the only one held in Montreal by the Montreal Expos, as this was their final season.
