Congratulations to this week’s Team of the Week: the Renegades!
Playing in the Nova Scotia Monarchs Women’s Division, the Renegades have had a season packed with fun, teamwork, and dominant baseball! This group of players demonstrates skill on the field in every aspect of the game, but more than that (per the team’s nomination), “The team represents women who work so hard on a daily basis – students, mothers, sisters, friends, and daughters – coming together to play a game they love.” In the Renegades final regular season game, they went home with the win, capping off an exceptional undefeated season. The Renegades are a truly inspiring group who have been able to find success while still having fun as team, and being incredible role models for other women and girls who love baseball.
Congratulations, Renegades, you are this week’s Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum Team of the Week!
