Congratulations to this week’s Team of the Week: The Ayr Junior Vics!
The Ayr Junior Vics U11 rep team has been putting on an impressive performance this season on the ballfields, showing off their talent and sportsmanship.
This ball team is composed of a mix of veterans, along with several players who are just getting introduced to rep level baseball. Overcoming the growing pains of a new team can be challenging, but the players have come together, and through hard work, perseverance, and teamwork they’ve been able to pull out the wins. In fact, the Ayr Junior Vics took home the gold earlier this year at the U11 ORSA Tournament on home turf!
According to their nomination, “The team is working so hard together and support each other so fiercely”. Clearly, the hustle and heart in Ayr is paying off. That special combination of skill, camaraderie, and hard work is a truly intimidating recipe for success … other teams had better watch out when they see Ayr in the opposing dugout!
